Recruiting is closed: We are currently processing new recruit applications based on our previously filled out waitlist and will not be accepting any new registrants to the waitlist. Our next intake will be September 2027 with a waitlist posted in Spring 2027.
We encourage families to explore other local Air, Army, and Sea Cadet units in the Halton/Peel surrounding area as they provide a similar experience and may have more flexible intake periods.

16-18 Oct: Field Training Exercise (FTX)
Weekend FTX is taking place Friday to Sunday. Cadets will learn basic survival skills from water collection to shelter building to fire starting and more! Information to follow in the General Teams Channel. Save the dates - get excited!

30 Oct - 1 Nov and 6-8 Nov: Poppy Drive
Being active members in the communicty and supporting our Local Legion is one of the many events cadets participate in as part of their Citizenship cirriculum. Sign ups for specific shifts will be posted in the General Teams channel in the weeks leading up to the events.
29 Nov: Marksmanship Open Shoot
Interested in learning how to fire the cadet air rifle and trying out for the Marksmanship team this year?! Come out to the open shoot. Participating in an open shoot and completing the safe handling test is a requirement to try out for the marksmanship team.

Certain Sundays will be dedicated to team training, with open shoot days mixed in throughout the training year. Open shoots allow for any cadet to complete their rifle safe handling test then fire the cadet air rifle.

You can become part of Canada’s largest cadet band. Our band brings together cadets from all over Halton to make music, have fun, and perform at exclusive events. Whether you’re just starting or already know your way around an instrument, everyone who’s willing to practice hard has a place in our band.

When: We rehearse on Fridays from 1800-2130, with some extra practices too.
